When Rome came to us to refresh their branding and packaging design for their pie irons, nostalgia hit me as I remembered making pudgie pies out of buttered white bread and canned cherry pie filling as a Girl Scout. I created a fresh look that leaned in to Rome's history and heritage, while designing minimalist packaging that allowed the product to shine through in the retail environment. Pie Irons were just the beginning as their product line expended to include popcorn poppers, kebab skewers, hotdog holders and more.
